DESCRIPTION:This concert-style presentation is an exclusive first look “sneak peek” at the newest Musical Theatre creation of Richard Oberacker and Rob Taylor (of the Tony-Award winning musical “Bandstand”). Inspired by the remarkable real-life experiences of Ruth Corker Burks\, a single mother in 1986 rural Arkansas who was transformed into a one-woman hospice\, health advocate\, political activist\, and undertaker to thousands of young men at the height of the AIDS crisis\, “Angel of Arkansas” features a 6-piece live band and an all-star cast led by Broadway’s Ruby Lewis\, Brent Barrett and Noah Rivera\, along with Vegas Theatre and Musical icons\, including Paul Johnson\, Daz Weller\, Chris Lash\, Annette Verdolino and more. \nThe concert will be followed by a gala reception to meet the performers and creative team.
